East Kalimantan borders North, South, and Central Kalimantan and shares a short border with the Malaysian state of Sarawak. In recent years, the East Kalimantan government has demonstrated its commitment to halting the forest cover transformation, fostering climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts, as well as supporting sustainable development.
In East Kalimantan, USAID SEGAR work in Berau, Kutai Timur, and Mahakam Ulu Districts.
