The private sector engagement (PSE) strategy is based on developing sustainable, market-based solutions for small, medium, and large-scale enterprises to allow them to better integrate biodiversity conservation and sustainable land use into their business strategies. In addition, it will help smallholders who are linked to these supply chains to minimize the potential environmental threats while maximizing the sustainability of natural resources-based commodities.
