USAID SEGAR works in four provinces, including Aceh, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and East Kalimantan, which represents areas with high conservation values (HCV) and high carbon stocks (HCS) in Indonesia as well as the important habitat of wildlife's natural population. 

We focus our activities on 12 districts across the four provinces.
    • In Aceh, we work in Aceh Tamiang, Aceh Timur, and Aceh Utara Districts. 
    • In West Kalimantan, we work in Kubu Raya, Sanggau, Sintang, and Ketapang Districts. 
    • In Central Kalimantan, we work in Seruyan and Kotawaringin Barat Districts. 
    • In East Kalimantan, we work in Berau, Kutai Timur, and Mahakam Ulu Districts. 

Based on the Landscape Baseline Analysis (LBA) made by USAID SEGAR, these districts contain a total forest cover of 7,839.910 hectares, a total HCV area of 10,219,144 hectares, and a total HCS area of 8,002,708 hectares.
